Aulber (ALL-ber /ˈɔːlbɜːr/) is the name of the world and universe in which everything is set.
It has three major continents - Aulber Nis, Aulber Sol, and Aulber Ret.
(Don't worry about the last two. Everything takes place in Aulber Nis at the moment.)

⬩⬥ Aulber Nis ⬥⬩

Aulber Nis (NEES /niːs/) is the largest continent in Aulber, and it's also the most densely populated. It consists of five separate realms, each ruled over by a different Royal family.

Aulber Nis is known for many things, but the most important thing to be aware of is that magic is strongly regulated in Aulber Nis; anyone who's found to have innate magical energy is brought in to be raised by - and later on, to work with - the Royal courts.

Pros: cushy job for life!
Cons: you can literally do nothing else!

Don't... don't worry about it. I'm sure there's a reason for it that goes beyond the greed of the Royal courts.
Right?
R-right..?
