Katherine is the firstborn child of King Elton Woodworth and Queen Mary Woodworth. She was an only child for most of her life; the birth of her sister Courtney was a surprise for everyone involved. Unfortunately, the birth left their mother extremely frail, and after a tough winter with a nasty infection going around, Queen Mary ended up passing away when Courtney was a young child and Katherine was in her late teens.

Katherine was always closer to her father, but her mother's death still hit her hard. She withdrew from the public eye and refused to leave home, instead spending most of her time locked away in her room reading novels. It's only within the past few years that she's actually started attending events again.

Katherine is the kind of person who seems cool and mysterious from a distance, but in reality, she's just extremely shy. In a crowded room, she'll be found on the sidelines - observing, but never taking part unless invited. She constantly second-guesses herself, to the point where she will simply choose to do nothing instead of having to make a decision.

She's very quiet when around people she doesn't know, but when she's with friends, she opens up a lot - she can actually be very chatty when she wants to be, especially when it's about a topic she feels passionately about.
