Henrietta was the first-born of the Reid Royal Family, and from a young age, it was quickly clear that she was... different. Despite everyone's best efforts, she was always closed off, and any attempt to engage her in activities ended up in tears - both hers and her parents'.

As she grew up and started her formal education, things improved significantly, and her parents realised that a lot of her tantrums were because she didn't know how to play. Draw a picture? Of what? A flower? What colour is the flower? She has to choose a colour? Tears! However, answering a set question with a set answer? No problem!

She's highly intelligent, and when she's taught something, she remembers it, but she doesn't put in any effort beyond whatever's required of her. The only exception to this is if it's something she's personally interested in. She'll fixate on anything that manages to catch her interest - she knows three different languages and can cook speciality meals from different continents, purely because she took a special interest in geography and other cultures.

Most people consider Henrietta rude, because she'll often give blunt responses and cut off conversations as quickly as possible. She's never mean, though, just disinterested in small talk, and if she realises she's actually hurt someone's feelings, it upsets her greatly.
