As the heir and Crown Prince of Asilia, William has a lot of responsibility on his shoulders, and he is determined to live up to the expectations thrust upon him in the very best way he can. He's the polar opposite of his twin brother, Richard - William is ordered and dignified, always ensuring that his duties are fulfilled before anything else. Despite being a very serious person, he does have a sense of humour, albeit a dry, sarcastic one.

Many would presume that William wouldn't get along with his twin brother, considering how drastically different they are, but they actually have a surprisingly good relationship. They may argue frequently, but it's never about anything serious, and they actually complement each other well; Richard is the face of the family, which means that William doesn't have to worry about petty social obligations, and he can spend his time doing the things that really matter, such as... paperwork.

William takes his image very seriously, and he fights hard to keep up appearances, often pushing himself to the point of exhaustion to ensure he keeps up with all of his responsibilities. He doesn't understand the concept of a work/life balance - to him, his work is his life. He simply doesn't have time for anything more than that. It's extremely rare for William to ever lose his cool - even in the most stressful situations, he always does his best to look as though he's in control. (His frustrations are saved until he can vent them in private, when he returns to his chambers.)
