23rd January 2026 - New Story
I guess it's a little late to say Happy New Year, right? Things have been so hectic for me recently, but I'm hoping I can have more time for creative endeavours this year! We'll see, ehehe... Anyway, the main reason for this blog post is because I've added a new short story! This one features Beatrice and Percy!
I'd given myself a small goal in my mind of releasing a short story every month, but with how quickly January has been getting away from me, I was worried I might not be able to manage it. Thankfully, inspiration struck right when I needed it to! (Thank you so much to the OC website Unvale, because the inspiration from this story came entirely from yesterday's Question Of The Day on there! "Has your OC played any musical instruments?" Such a wonderful thing to consider... yes... yes, they have...)
I'm really happy with how this story came out, considering it was a spur-of-the-moment thing, so I hope people enjoy it! There have also been a bunch of new art pieces added to each of the character galleries, and I've also added the ability to post comments on the character profiles! (Please be nice to them!!)
If anyone was curious about the others...
Beatrice and Grace never had any music lessons. Beatrice wanted to learn, but Grace had no interest.
Nate and El both had piano lessons. Neither of them cared for it. Nate is also excellent at playing the violin, but he doesn't enjoy it at all - it's an obligation to him.
Henrietta and Percy both had piano lessons. Henrietta gave up as soon as she was allowed to. Percy doesn't mind it, but didn't pursue it further than he had to. Percy also learned to play the flute, which he enjoys greatly and keeps up as a regular hobby.
William, Richard, and Alexa all had piano lessons. William is an extremely skilled pianist and enjoys playing in his free time. Richard and Alexa both put no effort into it whatsoever. Richard also claims to play the bass guitar, but this is a lie - he owns a bass, but he doesn't know how to play it.
